The Reel Gardening range will revolutionise the way you plant and grow vegetables and herbs. This clever concept gives you a selection of growing seeds, lovingly embedded in handmade paper tape. The tape is biodegradable, and designed to nourish and hydrate the seeds as they germinate.
Reel Gardening seeds require up to 80% less water than regular seeds, making them a water-wise choice for gardeners in hot, dry climates. The paper tape also keeps the seeds at the right spacing and depth, for optimum growth.
The Reel Gardening concept was devised by a creative young South African when she was just 16 years old! Since then, Claire Reid has gone on to win numerous international awards for her innovation.
The Reel Gardening brand employs previously unemployed South African women, who make their green-conscious products using simple hand-powered machinery.
